i think it's empathy, which is very normal. If people weren't empathetic, no one would ever stop a robbery or save someone in distress. If it reaches a point where it really bothers you or others around you, then perhaps you're over-reacting... in which case, just learn to acknowledge that you tend to over-react and you'll slowly learn to temper yourself when you feel the heat coming on. And you need to know that, if someone sucker-punches another person, you can't go up to them and crack their head open under a barstool or bite a hole in their throat or something over-the-top like that. A sucker-puncher might deserve to be punished (preferably by the legal system) but I don't think they deserve "extreme harm" especially if you don't know the whole story (maybe the guy had punched HIM the night before and he was just getting his revenge) You need to have a sense of right and wrong, or else you're liable to end up in jail, as your lack of control would represent an undue danger to society and those around you. So long as you can keep yourself cool enough to not drive yourself nuts, drive other people nuts, or do something that will land you in jail, I think you'll be fine.

If everyone were as sensitive as you, then the world would be a much better place. It is not ultrasensitive to hate seeing others and animals hurt. It is also ok that seeing others hurt people makes you angry---that is normal and I feel that way too. If someone were to hurt my dogs, I might have to do them some serious bodily injury. Animals are innocent.
I don't know the psychological term for this, but I would say "kind and considerate" or something of that nature.

I think you're fine. Perhaps you felt a little too compelled to hit that other guy. You could have just made sure that the guy that got hit was okay and that might have made you feel better. Then again, without knowing the story, maybe the guy deserved to get hit. It's always best to stay out of those situations. I do feel that your compassion for others and animals is normal though and you shouldn't worry about it too much.

The worst thing you can do in your life is try to be normal. You need to be you. If your father is Osama then it is normal for you to want to kill all Americans. Otherwise you would be abnormal. In America it is normal to be filled with anger, sadness, depression and anxiety. It is normal to be rich and totally miserable.
But you should choose for yourself if mentall health and happiness is most important to you. If not, then stay the way you are. But you do not have to be like this. You can have inner peace and contentment and then things like that will be people using their free will which is a beautiful thing. See site below if you do not want to be this way. If you did attack the guy and kiil him you could have spent the rest of your llfe in jail which would be terrible for your wife and children when you have them.

Well, for one... if you are upset with people for hurting others you really shouldn't throw a punch at anyone, because you would be hurting them.
You are a very conserened person, but you seem hypocritical, you should talk to a psychologist about this.

It sounds to me like you are a sweetheart. I wouldn't want there to be a psychological term for this.. Sounds like you are kind and don't like to see anyone suffer in any way. I am glad there are people out there still like that. The mouse thing is great! Please don't change, if anyone wants to name call, they don't deserve you.
