How long does the numbness go away after surgery I have been waiting a month already.

ive had my whole face broken by a horse ..my numbness took almost 6months or so to go away ..and "some times" depending on the surgery it may never go away..i got lucky i was not sopoze to have feeling in my jaw at all ..

Noone can tell you that answer. The numbnesss could last for years. It just depends on how long the nerves take to heal, sometimes never.

It depends. With some people it takes longer. I suggest you contact your doctor.

The oral surgeon may have damaged a nerve,Call him/her and get seen.

I'm a nurse. This isn't good call the surgeon back and let him know this.
