not much surf in the Netherlands
not many big waves ,like in the tropics
the tide is very deep or high
like 6 metres or more

the sea is very cold remember that ,
nobody goes in the water in Januari the coldest time of the year ,you will get on Television if you do

the only time normal people go to swim is in July

and there are no best surf spots .go take a trip on the rivers,in a boat ,and eat in the many restaurants on the sides, much more fun.

Surf the internet and stay warm. Three months will go by in a heart beat. Stay out of the cold arsed water and that in and of itself will keep your heart beating. Then when you get back we can meet at the seventeenth street walkdown where the inside break is always happening. Even when the outside sets are overhead and walling up the inside section is a perfect left (horseshoe bowl shaped).
