I'm only 14 but I am already 6'1" and have 13 shoes. I feel so clumsy and trip all over the place 'cause I'm still growing fast. A couple weeks ago I accidentaly knocked over a cabinet, and broke all of my granma's ceramics and glass because I'm so big and can't keep track of every body part i move. I like to mees with my little sister but sometimes when I pick her up I fall and hurt her. It's not because i'm weak, I'm too big and trip over my own feet. I feel like I'm going to hit my head on the ceiling, or low doorways in some houses. If anyone has any similar experiences or problems, or even if you've found a sholution to extreme hugeness post them here please.

Im just turned 17, and at your age i was also quite tall. Im 6' 3" and wear size 15 to 16 shoes - what a time it is for me to find shoes i like and in my size. i f i were you i would just slow down and realize that your not a kid anymore and realize your the size of a adult like the previous post. sometimes i fall while carrying my cousins and hurt them, my suggestion for you would be not to carry her any more.

Hi there...this is a grandma answering your question. I'm 5'1". Grandma's accumulate lots of "things" and they're lovely to look at and handle. I love all of mine and when one occasionally gets knocked over (sometimes by me) I'm sad. However, it's not the end of the world when accidents happen.
Two of my sons are 6'1" and 6'3". One of my grandsons, who is your age, is also very conscious of his height, he's almost 6', and I remind him to stand tall. He also likes to "mess" with his younger sisters but I haven't heard of any accidents so far.
He has played football but is presently playing basketball. If you're not into sports so far, perhaps this would help your coordination problem.
You sound like a decent kid, concerned for others, so hang in there, enjoy your good health and love yourself!!
By the way, do you have regular health checkups?

I have had to duck for many a low ceiling and doorway.. and I am sorry to tell you that though I have stopped growing long ago, I still am clumsy.. but don't let your height bring you down... be proud to be tall, you will get more graceful as you learn to adjust for you height, my best advice it so slow down and be aware of your surroundings... remember the bigger they are the harder they fall so you have to be cautious
I am 5'11"

Oh my gosh! You are so lucky to be so tall. Your age has a lot to do with your being so clumsy..As you get older you will learn and mature. Please stand very tall and be proud of yourself. Be proud of your height. The worse thing you can do is bend over (slump your shoulders forward to appear shorter). This is one habit that is hard to break and will cause you health problems later in life. Keep your back straight and your head held high. You will get more graceful the older you get. I am only 5'3" but both my kids are 6'4" and 6'5". Walk tall and be proud!!!!!

I think (by no means am I doctor) that considering that you are only 14 you are still growing and you will grow into your size. Just make sure that you are more aware of your surrondings and take your time.
You are aware that you are clumsy so just practice being more "graceful" and if you do this things will get better.
Also just for the record I went through the clumsy stage too! :)

You poor thing. No, hun, I never had that problem, quite the opposite because I am under 5'3".
But, you will get used to your new body, it just takes a little time. I suggest you slow down, to keep track of your body parts in motion.

It sounds like you may have a balance related problem. You might want to consult with your physician and have him check your inner ear and your balance. I have Meniere's Syndrom and fall alot because I have no balance at all, I use my feet for balance and walk with a cane, I stay dizzy and constantly hear roaring in my head. Hope this helps.

I don't have similiar situation. but maybe you can practice meditation. and slow down, calm yourself down. so you don't break things.
I am not tall, I am only 5 feet 3 and half but I am still clumsy but your intention is good, so just calm yourself down, practice, practice, then you will get better. don't move so fast. look before you act.
:-)
