extremely, with each of the years I honestly were vacationing lower from side to side to PR and diverse states, the in consumer-friendly words company that by no ability supply me a project is Criket ... AT&T is sweet yet searching for a great spot for signal... And metro computer .., those 3 were operating perchance because I honestly have an iPhone. and that i'm speaking consisting of the mountains. sprint and Verizon they are not good. They use their own phones for PR and their customer help is terrible. they say it extremely works , yet believe me it doesn't... Even my sister had an iPhone from PR and got here to Tx and wasn't operating ... no longer receiving calls... perchance once out 2 hundred. Calls. Even like that, they made her pay penalty because she become below settlement, even as they were meant fo basically no longer charge any consequences... She had no ther option than purchase a sparkling telephone in TX with a sparkling service. So, if you're vacationing and honestly relies upon what portion of the island, more effective useful examine... yet even the service would grant you with a no so precise information.

It depends on your cell company, most should work. Puerto Rico is a territory of the US and you will find that most of what you have here you will find there. Ask your provider if you have doubts.

Yes, it will! PR has a US area code (787) and (939)... it will be like calling from another state. Just in case call your cell phone company. But I have Cingular and it works perfectly when I travel there, no roaming or extra charges.

YES...YOUR CELL PHONE WILL WORK...HOWEVER, DEPENDING ON THE SERVICE PROVIDER AND PLAN THAT YOU HAVE, YOU MAY PAY A GREAT DEAL FOR THE SERVICE.
I USE THE CINGULAR CELL PROVIDER..THEY CONSIDER PUERTO RICO AS A LOCAL CALL DEPENDING ON THE PLAN THAT YOU HAVE.

If you have Nextel service you can forget about it. If you have Sprint service, and you have a tri-band phone you'll have coverage all over the island. There are dead spots here and there, but as long as your phone is able to roam and you have a tri-band phone you're covered. Visit your provider's website and check the coverage map for you!

Usually they do... Ask your service provider if it is included in your plan or if it is roaming.
I had Verizon and T-Mobile while living in FL and whenever I came to PR i was able to use the service...
