Absolutely not. Holding a cell phone up to your ear for lengthy hours...and this would have to be done every hour of every day for it to have any effect...not to mention how dangerous it is to have it to your ear and drive too...would more than likely cause some sort of disease. Even breathing the air can cause cancer. I sleep with my cell phone...not opened, but it is on...next to me when I'm sleeping as I set an alarm on my cell phone that I can hear to wake up to. This will have no effect on you to sleep with your cell phone. I would like to emphasize, however, that I've heard of batteries exploding in cell phones which could cause a fire in your bed while you're sleeping, but, what are the chances of that happening? It's really your choice whether you sleep with your cell phone or not. Sweet dreams.

NO! I sleep with mine on my nightstand incase of an emergency cause sometimes I don't want to get woke up early and I take my house phone off the hook. A cell phone will not cause brain damage, we been using 1 for almost 18 yrs. haven't had any problems yet.

If it is on, I would not sleep next to it. It is said that you should not sleep next to anything (nothing within 3-4 feet) that is electrical, gives off any waves, etc., that includes cell phones that are left on, digital clocks, heating pads, electric blankets, etc.

Cell Phones don't cause cancer. What they do is decrease sperm count if left on near the body for a long time. Since you're not a guy you don't have to worry, but I do!

Probably makes you want to call more, or upgrade to a fancier (i.e. expensive) phone.
