I know many atheists, and many of them will repeat "Oh, my God" and "Jesus Christ!" and "Go to hell", etcetera, even though they're atheist.

Why does our anti-God culture still use this religious profane language today? Are we too lazy to come up with anything else or..? As an atheist, why would you use those terms?

ALSO: Why is it that AD and BC need to be replaced with BCE and CE if even atheists and non-Christians still use blasphemy?

...Hebrews 6:16 says this, "16 For men swear by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath given as confirmation is an end of every dispute."
...People says these things in vain and in a profane way, but do they realize that they are also affirming that God and Jesus are greater than they are, since they swear by someone greater? If they were confronted on this, many might stop.
...Believe on Jesus and be saved. Whosoever will, may come.

Psalm 76:10 -
Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

I don't think God falls off the throne everytime someone says Oh my God, or Jesus Christ. Would you rather they said Oh my lord of the flies, Satan?

Taking the name of the LORD in vain is much more complicated than this. It means to "drop" his name in order to deceive people, like the Catholic church has done for centuries, or like all of the cults also do now. It is also when someone uses his name with a sense of CONTEMPT for him or his name. Usually, when people are saying these things, they are not feeling contempt for the LORD or his name, but rather for the thing that caused them to emote so, such as an evil deed they have just been made aware of. It is mostly a matter of expressing exasperation about something, rather than a determined rant against their maker.

Our society has been saying it to the point where it doesn't even sound bad, and that explains why it's so common now-a-days
