First and foremost the definition of love is God! But I believe love to be a verb. It is something we have to work at and strive for. I LOVE my husband, I say it, I mean it, I live it. It's not just there... I have to work at it every day. Some believe love is a feeling you have.. while there IS most certainly a feeling there that feeling can and will die over time.

'Love means never having to say you're sorry.' -- I think you have to keep that line in context of the story. Even as a young teenager watching that story I got that the line meant that you recognize that someone who loves you would not hurt you intentionally, so if they do, the assumption is that they are sorry.

To me love means caring enough about someone that you want to put their interests and welfare ahead of your own.

Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way.

When someone loves you, the way she says your name is different. You know that your name is safe in her mouth.

Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings.

Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.
