Ive been doing 30 minutes of cardio daily for five days now and intensive weight training. Of course I want to lose weight but I want to tone too. Im a pretty muscular female already. But I know to gain ab muscles I have to have plenty of protein and good cardio
I can handle the cardio but what about the protein? HELP PLEASE?
And should I cut pasta out of my diet too? I know I need that for energy for my cardio. I could use some help. Thanks.

Protein is in chicken, fish, beans, eggs, lots of things. I don't eat much read meat, but I do eat the above mentioned proteins.

Peanut butter, eggs, fish is just the tip of the iceberg for alternative protein sources. Don't cut out the pasta. Pick instead a whole grain pasta. The fiber will do you good and you'll get the carbs you need to stay awake.

Protein is found in dairy products, eggs, peanut butter and nuts etc. It is easy to get enough protein without eating red meat.

Pasta isn't really good for you . I wouldn't say to eat that if you were aiming for losing weight .

As for finding protien without meat ...

I'm not quite sure . Maybe you should try eating more things with fiber instead .

eating protein rich veggies are good... beans are nice... tofu is also rich in protein since it's made with soy beans... eating sea weeds is also good...it has protein and iodine too... cheese and milk are also ok... if you want to eat pasta eat it. although i'd prefer that you eat those that are made vrom veggies.... vegetarian markets have good choices

Go on an Atkins-type diet and eat lean meat like chicken and fish. Also eggs and tofu.
