I am trying to get an idea on how much I will get back from my taxes...I havent got my w2 back yet. I claim 2 dependents and I will be filing married and jointly...no other income.

It should be labeled clearly on your pay stub somewhere. Otherwise, just be patient the W-2 will be here in a few weeks.

It is often printed on your paycheck stub.

For the current period and Year-to-Date.

Use the YTD number from the last paycheck you received in 2006.

If it's not on your pay stub, then ask someone in the payroll department of your employer.
