stay organised so that you are on top of things. realise that there is more to work and have a life outside of it where you can socialise, relax and just do what you enjoy. As far as conflict in the workplace, just smile and nod. People can be moody little darlings just try hard to stay out of it and if you unfortunately have no choice but to be involved stand up for yourself and then forget about it all, putting it down to simply being a bad day, tomorrow will come.

Well, first off, if I do something wrong I admit it. It tends to lessen the stress I put on myself worrying about getting into trouble over something.
Then, I always remind myself that the people I work with will not be in my life forever but that I should treat them the way I want to be treated. If you work full time, realize that you spend half your life with the people you work with so try to be compassionate, friendly, caring, and someone you would want to be around.
Then the last thing I do is remind myself that I have a job to do, the company I work for pays me to perform a job, they expect a job well done so I do my work, and do it well as if I was working for myself.

Also, when you leave work, leave your work at work, don't take home the problems, and don't worry over it. Leave the job and worries there.
You were looking for a job when you found that one and you can look for another one if it doesn't work out.

It's difficult sometimes. I have to remember that customers aren't angry at me personally but frustrated with their equipment. I have to remember I am only one person and can only accomplish a certain amount every day. When it gets too bad, I will sit in my van and scream a primeval scream. Feels good. Throwing a wet sponge at a wall is satisfying too. Taking a time out during the day just to breathe and relax for a moment is very important too.
