Being a sinner I cannot tell you why. That is the Glory of God in that he forgives me my failings and offers his Love when I do not deserve it.

Yes, Jesus is a historical figure and you'll find countless experts who will tell you that there is a mountain of evidence to prove he did exist, well-known to be a teacher and healer who lived near Galilee. Josephus Flavius was the Roman scribe who recorded most of what we have from the Romans, including Jesus' crucifixion and subsequent disappearance (or resurrection, if you believe, which I do).
As for giving anyone a reason why Jesus should love you, if you believe, He is the Son of God sent to atone for the "sin" of mankind. Whether or not you believe, however, is entirely up to you. I hope you find what you're looking for.

I cant give you a good reason why HE loves me.. But praise GOD HE does..
HE loved me enough that HE stayed on the cross in my place...

That is the whole point of the Bible. Agape love. He created us, so He loves His creation... but we are wicked... yet the Bible says, God commenteth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!!
