I was much younger than 18, and just drunk whatever was in the party. A friend took a chair I was going to seat on and I ended up on the floor, very shamefull... So take easy, for every drink you have, make sure you have also a glass of water. Don't mix drinks, keep to a kind. Nothing wrong with the old beer, get away from mixed drinks, they have lots of sugar and does get you drunk much faster. I found Scotch not to give hangover, and u can mix with water and ice. Have fun, but don't drink if you feel pressured to, All the best. and go slow.

Just because you're 18 doesnt mean you have to go and get drunk. The first time I was drunk I was only 15 and it was the worst feeling I ever had. I had just gotten out of a really long relationship that ended xtreamly badly and basically I was trying to drink myself to death. But it didnt work cuz oviously I'm still here. Alchohol is a deppresion drug and its not good for you no matter what your age. So just take it easy. Dont get yourself in trouble. Have fun.....but not too much fun.

Unless you live outside the US, legal drinking age here is 21...you've got 3 more years to line up cocktails to try...
I got buzzed underage the first time (highschool at a friend's house) but the legal age to drink was still 18 when I turned that age...I was a senior in high school...
It's easy to get drunk when you have no drinking experience...it makes you nauseous, you vomit and have a killer headache the next day and your head feels like a bowling ball...

Alright, now that i'm done amusing myself..
I had my first drink when I was I think..14 or so. It was budweiser beer and I felt so horrible the next morning. Lots of throwing up was done that night. Not a good experience.
I ended up calling people while I was drunk, and..the result wasn't good.

Beer is the least expensive. I have never been drunk because I don't see the fun in making a fool of myself. That's not fun especially the next morning.

Well I was about 11. I was at my friend's house, her mom always went out and we drank blackberry brandy. Another time it was gin and tonic, that stuff was horrible!
