How do I say 'I am...' or 'My name is...'??

I know you can say it by saying 'Watashiwa desu.' But I wanna know if there are other ways in saying it. Is 'bokura' possible? Please tell me the possible ways of saying it. I've tried searching but everytime all that appears are Japanese letters/words. Thanks!! =)

"watashi no namae wa .... desu" or "watashi wa ... desu" or "... desu" or "... to moshimasu".

You could say, "boku" instead of "watashi", but "boku" is mainly used by young boys and watashi is (in my opinion) probably a better choice.

However, "bokura" is not correct because that means "we" and you are only one person.

You cannot use bokura, but you can use boku.

Informal: Boku no namae wa desu.
Formal: 1) to moushimasu.
2) de gozaimasu.

Usually after you say your name, you follow with:
yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

You use the formal in business or when talking to someone of higher status than you. Informal is just like friends.

hi, just noticed something and thought to clarify it.

this part of CJ's answer is wrong:

"My name is: Onamae wa nan desuka. (Oh-nay May)"

"O namae wa nan desuka" is actually a question, meaning "what is your name?". And the "O" part is an honorific term you use on other people, not on yourself.

The phrase "My name is..." actually goes like this "watashi no namae wa..." (the "e" in "namae" is pronounce "eh", not the the english letter "e").

Hello depends on the time of day:

Ohayou gozaimasu - Good morning
Konnichi wa - Good afternoon
Konban wa - Good evening

You can use "boku" in place of "watashi" to say "I am ___" if you are male. (Boku wa ______ desu.)

You can also say:

Boku no namae wa _______ desu.
This is actually "My name is ______.
