Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home. Isn't it odd that after one year, he didn't wanna even have coffee after the movie? On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. BUT, we only dated for one month, so why after one year, after HE dumped me, why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. In fact, it never went past kissing. Did he really miss and that's why he wanted to see me or could it be bad intentions? So what does he REALLY want and should I be worried?

Unless you are completely okay with being friends with him, i would stay away from him. It can get really messy and peoples feelings can get hurt. I know from experience that it is better not to stay friends with an ex.

well this sounds strange to me if he just wanted to see a movie fine but you shouldnt see him anymore if i were you you should move on to a guy that will respect you and honor your promise to your self to save your self for the wedding night not some sex crazed looney who only wants to get in your pants next time he calls tell him your with a new bf and you dont think its a good idea if you 2 hang out anymore or that you have a new bf and your going out maybe that will get rid of him if it gets to the point where he doesnt stop bothering you i would contact the police and get a restraining order

Considering you never had sex with him, I think his intentions are true. Maybe he took on a 'big brother' role after he dumped you and wanted to see how you changed. Every guy I know has at least one ex they wish they kept in contact with, or would like to see again. It could also be he is regretting having broken up with you.

he probably is using u in desperation, last resort type thing or feels bad u never had sex (or conquered u!) NO OFFENSE JUST BEING REAL THATS HOW MOST GUYS ARE!! DONT FALL 4 IT!! move forward! dont fall back!
