I would suggest that you try Aviall or Aerospace Products International (API), those where the two major distributors I worked with when I was managing a maintenance shop. If it is a plane specific part, you may need to go directly to the manufacture, ie. Piper or Cessna.

try "Aircraft Spruce and Specialty company" if they don't sell it, you don't need it :-)
