Hello,
Unfortunately human beings make religions and as humans beings we tend to be right rather than happy.
We all grow with different values and we al think that our values are better than the other's. I guess people don't realize that our pride gets in the middle and instead of respecting each other as a group or as individuals we want to be superior.
Is not really about religion, is about our life’s and what we choose to follow and how we follow it weather is religion, sports, work etc.
Best Wishes.

Jesus said to his followers something to the effect that the time would come when there would be people who would kill them thinking they were doing God a service. He clearly indicates that this is wrong. Religious wars are about governments trying to control people and some people go along because they believe in their gov't and believe in their God and can't separate the two in their minds.

I think every religion wants to teach people to be good...what ever way they teach it, the ideas are good. They are all different but have the same intentions.

I'm athiest....and i just know how to do these things without the help of religion.

Yes, but that doesn't matter. They are all narrow-minded and see there way as the right way, and choose to BASH other religions...especially those that they think are "Devil worshippers", such as Pagans and Wiccans.

It's very sad, but until they all realize that no one is exactly right but no one is exactly wrong...religions will continue to "war against each other"..and bicker, bicker, bicker.

No, all religions are NOT after the same goal.....for example, some religions have a God who want's everyone blown up, other religions have a God who they feel will let them get away with murder as long as they believe, etc.....

There are no words in the Holy Books telling the believers to fight against other relgions. Those who fight are not faithful to the Prophet, they are false believers. They will receive the consequences of their deeds.
We learn the truth from the Holy Books, not from the believers or the so-called believers.

Every organized religion believes that it knows the "true" way to find salvation. That's why we had the Catholic Church conquering ancient Europe and why we now have the Islamic fundamentalists trying to bend the world to their will. I don't think either group is evil. They honestly think that "their way" is the only right way and they are trying to save as many people as they can, even if it's a bit misguided.

Each religion thinks it's own private club is the only way to get to God. Those small minded people think their way is the only way.

No, we are not after the same goal. But I agree that it would be nice if we did not fight for religions.
