took the Christmas tree down today. But it "sapped" me pretty badly, now I have sap on my arms, my face, even my contact lenses. I even smell like a pine tree! Ugh! I took a shower but it's still there. Any ideas? Thank you.

alright, basically the only thing that will get it off is peanut butter. i know it sounds gross, but as far as i know it's the only thing that will remove sticky tree sap. as for your contacts, throw them out. they're hopeless. the only question i have for you is....how did you manage getting this much sap on you?? i guess you and the tree got pretty cozy haha...

Try an oil with a high viscosity. Something like WD 40 with a brush, and then wash the oil off with warm water and dish soap.
The oil breaks down the active ingredients in the sap and dish soaps are designed specifically for breaking down oils, and grease.
This would be about the best and safest method of ridding yourself of this problem.
Good scrubbing to you.

Get some whitening toothpaste, and rub it on your skin where you have the sap. I cut down a whole bunch of trees about 2 weeks ago, and it worked for me.

That sucks. Take another shower and use a washcloth to scrub at the sap? other than that, i have no ideas.

I think that cooking oil on it and massage it off may work or use rubbing alcohol to dissolve it,
except your contact lens. Pine smells good, at least.

Rubbing alcohol is the safest.

You could also use turpentine or kerosene. Just don't smoke until you wash it all off!

The contacts are ruined, though. Sorry.
