Tell him...

Honesty is the best policy.

You broke up and something happened. You care about your boyfriend and want to be with him I suppose or you would not be asking. But someone else was there so you either tell him the truth or say his friend is lying.

If you really want things to work out then being honest is the only way. How is he to trust your in the future if you think the best policy is to lie to him?

You are human, do not beat yourself up about what happened. At the same time admit to what happened and why. Then you can put it behind you and move forward.

All the best to you in life.

Now i'm in a similar position but that was about a guy who kissed me that i didn't want too. If your were on a break..the what was he up to at the time?

If i were you though and you really want the relationship to work and he's already heard it from someone else then i'd just admit to it and he should appreciate your honesty and the fact that you were on a break.

You already lied, so you only have two options. 1. Stick with your lie and pray that he doesn't find out by any other means. or 2. Tell him that you were just embarassed, and really disappointed in yourself, that you wanted to tell him the truth and that you are sorry that it happened. Explain to him what happened truthfully and the worst that can happen is that you don't end up together, but if he finds out later that you lied then he will dump you anyway.

Relationships MUST be built on trust and honesty. I won't tell you what to do, just that if you say nothing or deny it the truth will out eventually.

you would expect him to tell you the truth, now wouldn't you??? if he lied about something like that to you, you'd be soooo mad. put yourself in his place, hmm....kinda sucks when the shoe is on the other foot.

well, you'll just have to take your chance here... if he can accept that fact, then he will stay but if he doesn't, then you'll lose him but you have to give him that option. better come clean than lie...
