After you bathe, you will want to use a mild pumice stone to gently remove the excess skin associated with these callouses. This is best done afer your feet have een soaking for some time to ensure the skin is nice and soft. Dont over due it, this will be a gradual process. Chances are the callouses are coming from wearing shoes that do not fit you properly. Invest in some good fitting shoes and in the mean time, buy "mole skin" from your local pharmacy. It is a material that runners and hikers use to put over their bunyons and blisters to prevent "rubbing". This will help your callouses from getting worse.

Planters Wart removal. Permanent and easy. Sounds weird but get some duct tape (the good stuff) You only need a bandaid size piece(or two)and use that as a bandage(instead of a bandage) and stick it to clean dry skin . And really press it on with your fingers. You want that bandaid to stay on for at least 2 weeks. I never really measured the time, I just kept it on....so it could have been a month. If it fell off I just reapplied a new one to same spot.
In otherwords don't get it wet. Put your foot in a bag and shower.
Finally after that period the wart should have started to lift. or may have lifted.
Will not reoccur again.
I have had them on my feet B4 and used the Compound W wart remover chemical on it(2 bottles) It lifted the wart off, and it came right back again. No good. Had the doctor burn them off with Liquid Nitrogen. They came back.
Duct tape 100 percent. And to get the duct tape off, is allow it to start getting wet when you wash your hands or feet and it will let go sooner or later.

I have a few pairs. Mostly 3 to 6 inch heels, some with chunky platforms 1/2 to 4 inches, stretch boots, some with buckles and straps, and so on. Okay I have too many pairs of boots maybe! 'giggle!'

There are files that you can buy for this. Be careful. Don't cut your skin. Do it after your bath when the callus will be softer.
Then try Bath and Body Works Heel of Approval and I Love Shea. The heel of approval will keep the area soft and feels wonderful!

You have your answer already. Am only adding that I recently started using a foot file & it is worth a try even by folks who have no callousses - everyone has dead skin on the bottom of their feet that it feels great to wear some of it away. Also, there are some very good Avon products for softening the feet specifically (& skin in general) that I have found.
;-)
*** Wikijo does NOT sell Avon products nor does he own Avon company stock. He just likes their foot file et alia.

Use some foot scrub to get rid of the top layer of dry skin then use some foot cream at night before you go to bed. i recommend burt's bees coconut foot cream, you put it on after your feet are clean then you put on a clean pair of soft wool socks ( which will help your feet absorb the cream). And don't walk on rough surfaces such as gravel and pavement, that's what causes them to get that way in the first place. I hope this helps!

One thing that really works for my wife, is purchase a paraffin wax bath. You melt wax in it, then dip your feet in it. Not only is it soothing, it helps to moisturize your feet. Then after it cools and you remove the wax, then use a heel file to keep your feet smooth. The wax also feels great on the hands.

Go get a pedicure and then keep your feet in shape. Don't "pick" at them...you run the risk of getting an infection.
Check out the link below to www.webmd.com. I've included the explanation for you.

make sure what your picking at isn't a fungus, cracks along the heel in a vertical motion is a fungus sometimes, there is a cream , lamisilAT that will clear it up, lots of people sometimes mistake this as callous and dry skin. don't pick at it as you will spread it.
