My Aunt had a baby with somebody who liked me 7 years ago. They stopped dating 1 year ago and this Christmas him and I reunited. We clicked pretty well and want to date. They are only friends now. All they ever had was a baby and tried to date but it did not work out. He wants to be with me and she says it's kinda like incest. If it is there's no way that I will let things between us get any further. Is this incest ?

Technically, no. The definition of incest is : "sexual intercourse between people so closely related that their marriage is forbidden by law". Dating him, a person who is not now, and has never been related to you, by blood or marriage, is not incestuous, but if you personally feel it is wrong, then you shouldn't get involved. However, don't let someone else tell you whether or not it's okay. That is between you and him.

Ummm . . . isn't that kinda like your uncle? It isn't incest in the strictest sense unless the guy is a blood relative, but I think you should definitely reconsider. No offense, but this all sounds like something you'd see on Jerry Springer. I don't know what the best thing for you to do is, but it certainly couldn't hurt to leave the guy alone. And "All they ever had was a baby"? I'm surprised at how lightly you take that. Good night!

Its not incest unless he is a blood relative. Only an Uncle by name doesn't count. Especially if you have already dated.

It's called Optimal Outbreeding. That is the term in Biology. Mating wtih someone who shares only 1/8 of your genes will insure the most genes getting passed on to the next generation without complications.

I'd be so weirded out to have sex with my aunt's old fling. Not just a fling, the father of her child. My cousin's dad. My would be Uncle. Yeah I could see it as incest because if they HAD gotten married, he'd be your uncle. He already bogus for dating your aunt if he liked you to begin with. It's not exactly "incest" but I bet it would be a very uncomfortable situation for you to get involved with him, especially for your aunt and your cousin.

its not incest since he's not blood related if you guys like eachother then go for it just know that people will be talking crap and it will be a little wierd explaining it all to friends especially if you guys last youll be stepmom/cousin

of course not!!!!!!! who told that my god!!!!!! listen she is your aunt not your mother and if she was your mother still no incest on that. incest is whem you do sex( to be especific) with yoou brother / sister/ mother and father just those four nobody else of course feel strange but it is no incest i think that what she want is keep you away fro him. good luck!!!!!!!!!!
