The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Psalm19:1

Not only angels and archangels give glory to God; numbers and mathematical equations join in the songs of praise.
Thank God for building some numerical sense into this world, enabling us to deal with checkbooks as well as the more complicated aspects of science and physics!
How would we ever get satellites into orbit if God had not excelled at math?

Thank you, God, for the wonder, beauty, and symmetry of your creation. Help us to appreciate and use your creation in faithful ways. Amen.

Agree. Numbers are results of the utmost intelligence of mankind. Through numbers, we are able to dwell the deep knowledge and mysteries beyond what we can't see. Indeed, the development was incredibly great because the results are seen on our everyday applications and so. But more than that, those who have develop these Numbers were among us mankind. And intelligent mankind was created by God, which only proves that ONLY HE, excels not only the simple math but on EVERYTHING.

Thank you God for giving us this priviledge. Amen.

I disagree, i do not believe that there is a god and i support this at the most basic level. Where did god come from?

Theists often claim that since the universe exists, a god must have existed first to create it. This is nothing more than a fallacy. There is no reason for the universe to need a creator. Theists will take this and say there is, and that god is that creator... well if everything needs a creator then you must admit that god himself would need a creator no?...

no.

NO?! Everything needs a creator but the creator itself... that's simply absurd. The famous watchmaker defense made famous by Paley is a very funny one indeed. It says that if one were to find a watch they would automatically assume that it was created by a watchmaker correct? Of course! well then, the earth must have a creator? WRONG! There is a precedent for the watchmaker, there is no precedent for an earth-maker... only conjecture. And this argument is fundamentally flawed in the sense that the watchmaker was born to parents who were in turn born to their parents, so on, and so forth... The watch maker didn't simply pop into existence.

There you have it, there is no god.

As you say, even numbers praise God. It is those damned to hell atheist odd numbers that cause all the trouble, especialy when the are joined by the Pagan irrational numbers, The Buddhist trancendental numbers and the Satanic imaginary numbers. I wonder ot God will complete his calculations before the limits of infinety are reached.

Yes. The seemingly unfathomable complexity of our universe, coupled with the amazing order and precision by which all life is guided on a molecular level; everything simply screams out to God. Just look at math and science, concepts so diverse and orderly that they must have been put in place by something not of this universe.

yes, i think even numbers do praise God. God created an orderly universe that runs by certain rules, and mathematics does explain a lot of those rules don't they?
God created us, and gave us the ability to think and reason and do maths, so as long as the maths is used for purposes that honour God they should praise Him.
hope i make sense!

Mathematics is also the basis of music. In other words, God is a Meta musician, that's why 'universe' means; one song.

I THINK I agree with you.

You know how people were coming up with numbers about how the world would end and all that crap.

And You mentioned numbers.
Anyway, I am so glad your checkbook is balancing out!!

I can't remember a time when the equations in my math books DIDN'T sing out to God constantly. It makes it very difficult to concentrate on homework.
