Yes.
Jesus is an Absolute.
NO ONE went to the cross for the sins of the world, but Jesus Christ.
He wants to live in your heart and change you.

Jesus lived. We know that from other histories of the time.
Now, believing that the historical Jesus was born, lived, and was crucified (the historical facts) is somewhat different from believing that he was born of a virgin, was the son of God, and died for your sins (the theology)
It's okay to question. If there is a God (I think there is) he gave us our intellect for a reason, because we are supposed to use it. I encourage you to read the Bible, and as many books ABOUT the Bible as you can get your hands on, and decide if this theology speaks to you, and rings true in your heart. If it does, you've found the right path. But know this: there is NO proof. If there were proof, it wouldn't be faith. And faith is the real virtue.
Good luck.

Yes, He is alive. I suggest you find information of the "messanic prophecsis" found in the Bible. The best person to show you the truth of these prophecsis would be someone called a Messanic Jew. They would show you how one peice of prophecy relating to the messiah relates back to Jesus Christ. One prophecy talks about him being born in Bethleham. Jesus was born in Bethleham, and the list goes on and on. After you come to realize that the old testament's messiah had to be Jesus Christ, you will take that leap of faith. Following Jesus is the best decision you can ever make in your life. I wouldn't die without him. Just trust him. We have a Wonderful God.

Ken I know what you mean.
It bothered me a lot too. Then someone told me about a book called the course in miracles. It is a recent revelation directly from Jesus.
I know, I was skeptical when I heard this too.
After reading It I have no doubt that it is the real thing.
Get a copy and see for your self.
Love and blessings Don

I have been there spiritually where you are now, that is empty.
I believe that the Bible is true. I have studied the evidence for Christianity and I believe that the Bible is written by humans but inspired by God.
Ask Holy Spirit to you heart to guide you. That will help you to understand God's Word. Give it time, there are no shortcuts to a spiritual maturity. God is patient. : )

Absolutely. I spoke with Him this morning. He is as real to me as my wife & kids, friends and family are. He will become real to you if you ask Him. Pray something like, "Jesus, I believe that you are real. I am through doing things my way and I want to do things your way. Please send your Holy Spirit to me and help me understand."
God is a gentleman. He will not come in where He is not invited. When you ask Jesus into your heart, He will come in and gradually, it will all start making sense.

You better believe He's real. Ever heard of the resurrection? He's living today by the right hand of His father in Heaven.
