I was just thinking, Jesus died for all our sins, right? God is always ready to forgive, right? So, I was thinking, would Satan and his followers be eligible for this forgiveness and redemption if they were actually repentant? I know it is a stretch, but it's something to ponder over. In the event that they would be, then it would be fair to assume that Satan's fate is only of his unwillingness to give in and ask forgiveness, similar to many people here on earth. Just a thought...

I don't think that their is a best answer here, in that this is a matter of opinion, kind-of. (There are some totally irrelevant answers, but that is a seperate issue.) I am putting this one to vote, and thanks to all who answered.

" If you aren't Christian, please no sarcastic answers.?"
It's really sad that disrespectful non-Christians have been so out of control in this section that you must say something like this. I'm not Christian, but I always show proper respect for all the questions, and I certainly don't think it's my right to tell other people what to do with their beliefs. They give a bad name to themselves, non-Christians, and Yahoo! Answers.
I think that God would certainly forgive Satan and let him back into heaven if Satan asked for forgiveness and wanted to take God into his heart again. I think the reason Satan fell was because he willingly rejected God, and since he's still in Hell, he must be continuing to do so.

Satan's 5 I's are found in Isaiah 14, the end Result in Revelation Chapter 20...there is no redemption for the devil since he made himself "god" of this world. He accuses believers in Job 1, he does go back and forth...John 3:19, 1st Corinthians 1:20. Revelation 22:11...This is not my opionon, this is what Jesus said.

Nope. Brad has it right except hell is not eternal. Hell is done away with.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
There may have been a point in which Satan could have repented in the first earth age.
But since then Satan has continued to rebel.
Plus some left their first habitation meaning they were not born innocents through the womb.
Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

I've wondered about this too from time to time. But I'm convinced the answer is no. For one thing, Adam was deceived by Satan into sinning, and we inherited our sinfulness from Adam. But Satan rebelled with eyes wide open. He wasn't decieved by anyone; he knew better than anyone who God was and how He should be worshipped, trusted, and obeyed, and he should have known his own place in the cosmic scheme of things, having seen the universe created and all. Adam was tricked, and since him we have had no choice in being born with a sinful nature, although we have a choice whether or not to commit each individual sin. But Satan and his angels willingly, knowingly, chose to go their own way. And I don't think they'd be offered a second chance, or take it if they were. They gambled it all on one throw, and their only hope now is winning.
Second, Christ took on the form of a MAN and died, because he was taking on and paying for the sins of MEN. Not angels. And never does the Bible state or imply that the offer of forgiveness extends to angels.
Besides, Revelation already tells us that Satan will fight to the end, only to be cast into the lake of fire. We already know how his story ends, and it isn't in repentance or redemption.
Also, in response to the poster above who calls Satan "God's assistant", both the Jewish Old Testament and the Christian New Testament share the same perspective of Satan (they both came from God, after all, who knows what He's talking about). "Satan" doesn't mean "challenger", it means "adversary". Satan is the adversary of God, as well as mankind. The Hebrew scriptures understand Satan to be a fallen angel and the original cause of sin. Yes he was "Lucifer" of light in the beginning, "full of wisdom and perfect in beauty", but that was before "iniquity was found in thee." God goes on to say "Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee."

I have thought of this myself, and I really think that Satan has gone too far to be able to repent. I believe that Satan had his chance to change and repent in the Heavens before he was cast to earth. When he was cast out, he had been given every opportunity, and that was his judgement day.

In the bible we are told that 'Hell was made for The devil and his angels. (not man.) I understand that nowhere in the bible does it tell us that Satan is repentant of what he has done and continues to do in destroying mainly, God's masterpeice, ' Mankind.'
Satan is a fallen angel, man he was gods' right hand man ukno, but He tried to be better than god. The special difference between him and us 'mankind' is we were made in the image of god and made by him in the depths of all he created, his love for us, (the world) is above what we understand it to be. And even now he still extends it, arms open wide, even to the unwilling.

Yes, they would get saved. God only knows what is going to happen. I have been thinking that it is quite evil situation. These fallen angels know that our God is God. They were cast out from heavens, and now they try their best to interfere with our relationship with God. They know the truth, they could actually repent and be saved, but they do not know when Jesus comes so I think it is too late then.

No, and this question has been asked before. You have to remember that the bible is not only the word of God, it has in it prophesies and foretells many things that are yet to come. In Revelation, satan and his followers are pitched into the lake of fire for all eternity. Therefore, there are no second chances for him, his end has already been determined.

yep. Satan = PRIDE, satan's pride and unwillingness to submit to God's will has cost him his salvation. From the bible, we know already that Satan, the beast, and the false prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire (hell). Your right on, peoples unwillingness to accept Jesus could be because of pride, shame, fear, etc. The Bible is a "sin detector", anyone who comes into the "light" will be judged, this way atheists make the bible as a "fairy tale" etc. in order to ease their conscience about their lives. peace.
