Why must abortion be stopped?

2007-01-07 14:01:01 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 7 3

I am pro-choice. When I hear debates on the issue, for me, there is no changing my mind, and no turning my thoughts. My opinion will never even budge. What the Christians' call evidence, or nearly any prop-lifer Christian, for that matter, calls evidence, is themselves reading verses from the bible. How is this evidence, again? It isn't. However, I have eveidence. Many pro-choicers do. Medical facts. Like these: The fetus is not a human, just a mass of tissue, let alone the fact that, not only is the fetus not alive, but you have to have an abortion before, at, or around 4 months of being pregnant. The fetus isn't actually "Alive" until it can survive without the mother, at around 24 to 25 weeks. Every child should be wanted, but most aren't. Would you rather the woman get an abortion, or have the unwanted child and abuse or neglect it? Aborting unwanted children reduces the number of abused children. The number of abortions is relatively small because of how many people get the courts to make sure that no one gets an abortion. Nobody has the right to impose their morals on me, or anyone else, for that matter. A woman should be able to control her own body. Abortion must be kept legal, especially for all the rape and incest pregnancies. If abortion is outlawed women will be forced to go to back-alley abortion clinics. We need to remember that we are overpopulating the planet and running out of world resorces. So why do you agree, disagree with abortion? Do you have evidence? Please don't use bible verses as "proof"...thanks! It's just opinions, remember!

Imagine that two or three times every week, women carry their two-year-old children into a particular building in your city. There, they pay someone to kill the children by dismembering them alive. Imagine that you know the hours and days when this is taking place. Now imagine that this killing is perfectly legal, but that it is also legal for you to go to the building, stand outside, and offer help and information to the women going inside. You find that while most of the women ignore you, some actually stop, listen to what you have to say, and change their minds. You find that anyone can do this work, old or young, male or female, shy or bold. Some of the women leave with their babies alive because you were there. If this were the situation in your city, would you go to the building? I hope so!

If you are within driving distance of an abortion mill, you CAN go speak up for babies who are scheduled to die. If you need help getting started, email me. Or, you can read this free PDF booklet:

http://www.advocatesfortheinnocent.com/files/Saving_the_Unborn_2nd_Edition.pdf

or watch this free video:

http://www.prolifeaction.org/sidewalk/packet.htm

(Please note: I am not Catholic, and I therefore do not agree with everything in the video above. However, it is still contains much useful information. Watch with discernment.)

I have a link to a site which lists most of the death camps in operation in America today. My conscience does not allow me to list the link here, but I will share it with pro-lifers who want to know if there is an abortion mill in their area. Just email me. Also, if pro-lifers would like to receive literature samples and baby models, I would be happy to mail them some.

If any Christians doubt whether they really need to do something about the 3,000+ babies being slaughtered daily in this country, they need to read this:

http://www.advocatesfortheinnocent.com/called.html
http://abort73.com/HTML/III-E-mandate.html

Thanks for the question. God bless.

When people quit listening to a racist organization like Planned Parenthood. Abortion is NOT ANOTHER FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL.

They also protect Paedophiles, rapists, and advocate the abdication of parental rights.

Their original goal was population control. The original founder said that minorities, unemployed, handicapped, uneducated and a host of others should NEVER REPRODUCE.

If you were to REALLY READ their Mission Statement, even today, they still push that abortion is a FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL AND RACIALLY MOTIVATED. Their idea is for people to go out HAVE ALL THE SEX THEY WANT, AND IF YOU GET PREGNANT YOU CAN ALWAYS ABORT IT.
If anyone doesn't believe me all you have to do is type HISTORY OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD into your search engine and then read all the GARBAGE they preach.

I used to think the same way a lot of these people on here until I did the search and REALLY READ what their REAL goal was.

If someone went to any of their clinics and wanted information about adoption they will do everything to get them to change their mind and get the abortion instead.

Look at their number of abortions compared to adoptions. I mean, come on people, there are SO MANY people that want to adopt.

I agree with you, but do you know what? It will never be stopped. We have allowed so much vice in this country, that it is pathetic. There is no respect for human life. The morals of many in this country have deteriorated so badly that there is no changing anything. I love this country with all my heart, but as for the people that have allowed this to happen, God have mercy on their souls. And by the way, life occurs at time of conception, how else does the fetus continue to grow and and change into the form that it has at birth. Any idiot that believes otherwise is doomed from the beginning. Murder can prevail in this country but God will judge these. And yes, there is a God. One that this country use to allow to be a foundation for all of us. And then, hell broke lose in our beautiful country and now look what's happening. I am so happy that I believe as I do. I have nothing to lose if I am wrong but everything to gain if I am right. God bless America!

I agree with you, if you are responsible enough to be having intercourse then be responsible enough to take of the child that did not choose to come into this world. I don't believe that anyone has the right to choose who should live and who shouldn't. I know, that for my answer, I am going to get many thumbs down. That doesn't bother me. I wish I knew how to stop abortion, I would do it in a heartbeat. People just look for easy ways out and that's not right. Take responsibility for what you have done yourself.

-Better Sex education started earlier. Even preteens are getting pregnant.

-Safe Birth Control readily available to all women and girls of childbearing age. No questions asked.

-Better Social situation--With men not running off and leaving poor women to raise their kids on their own.

-Safety - Stop rapes from occuring.

No one thinks Abortion is a good option. But sometimes, for some women, it's the only option.

Edit : Now, did I get a thumbs down because people who hate abortion ALSO hate birthcontrol and sex ed? Or was it because I said men need to be responsible fathers and refrain from rape? That's like Being anti-abortion yet pro-death penalty. People confuse me.

To stop abortion: Everyone in the entire world should never have sex again.

Oops, that wasn't very realistic was it? How about this? To stop abortion, eliminate the need for it. If you don't want to have a baby, abstain from sex.
Wait.. that does not cover rape...
How about free birth control? Hmmm, some religions would not use it even if it were free...

Hmm, well, I'm stumped. I see no way of solving this problem, especially since we (society) get sidetracked arguing the case instead of taking any real action.

If men could get pregnant abortion would be considered a "God-given" right!
