The LDS church is very big on disaster preparation; they have lists for 24-hour and 72-hour kits to help survive the worst, as well as a ton of information on emergency preparedness, food storage and planning for your whole family.

The end of time is inevitable, so there is nothing that can be done to prevent it. As I'm sure you are also aware, it has all be mapped out, and will come it pass in due time. I don't think you need a list of things to have or do to anticipate it, the best way to prepare yourself is to accept that you are a sinner and to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour. This is the most valuable protection you need as the end times are approaching.

As I am sure you are also aware, the Bible tells us that Jesus will return to Earth to take his chosen people back to heaven (the rapture). This will happen in the blink of the eye and only true believers will be accepted into the kingdom of heaven. Once this happens, there will be a period of tribulation (7 years) where God will give everyone a second chance to be accepted into heaven. Earth will encounter seven seals, each worse than the last, and during this period, many Christians will die as martyrs under that world rule of the Anti-Christ. As horrific as this time will be for Christians, true believers, there are guaranteed a place in heaven. If they survive the tribulation period, they will be witness the 'glorious appearing'.

You should read the 'Left Behind' series by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins! They have created a set of books about the Bible's message about the Rapture (the second coming of Jesus to take his people to Heaven) with a gripping plot and life-like characters that everyone can relate to. The two male characters that the narrative voice switches between are struggling to find the truth in a normal world suddenly turned chaotic and violent overnight, as millions of people all over the world vanish, leaving behind only their clothes. Their spiritual and emotional journeys through their personal losses is moving, thought provoking, and completely relatable. However, it also contains a plot that is action packed and adventurous. It is packed full of surprises and suspense that keeps you gripped right to the last page. It also contains many gospel truths that will help reaffirm your faith and remind you of the first time you believed.

I hope this help x

there's nothing you can do to stop the inevitable. there's only one thing you can do to prepare for armegeddon and when it comes, if you're not prepared it's too late. the only way to be prepared is to accept Jesus as your Savior. Through Him is the only way to Heaven. you don't need a list of things...have you ever heard of the rapture? when the end comes, people that have accepted Jesus are spared and they dissapear from this world and go to be with God. the rest stay and suffer. the ones who are not taken during the rapture have a choice...they can either get the mark of the devil and continue to get essential items as long as they have the mark of the devil. the ones that choose not to get the mark will suffer greatly, but they will also repent of their sins and be spared after an amount of time. and finally when God and his Angels have defeated the devil and his demons, the people who have been spared will go with God to build the new Jerusalem and live forever in God's grace and love. so, the only guideline is...invite Jesus into your life and live for Him. don't waste your time worring about it...believe me i did for a while until i realized that there was nothing i could do. it's not in our hands. also, everything that is going on in the world has been happening since the beginning of time. wars in the Holy Land, horrible storms, huge disasters. and think about it...everybody is expecting it to happen soon. the Bible says that no one knows the exact time The Lord will return. put your mind at ease. let go and let God. but if you want a list for natural disaster preparation, here's a few things:
go to www.ready.gov (they have a list for disasters)
canned goods
can opener
non-perishable food items
bottled water
baby wipes (in case of no water)
water purification tabs (found at any walmart hunting section)
propane bottles
turkey/fish fryer (for warmth and cooking)
matches & wood (for when you run out of propane)
stock up on gas
a horse (for when you run out of gas or incase computer grids go out everywhere and your car stops)
a gun...or two...or three
bullets
knife (for when you run out of bullets)

look, everything is going to run out sooner or later, so there's no use in worring. i'm not trying to mock you and it's good to be prepared (i used to be the same way), but if you don't accept the fact that you are not in control of every situation and sometimes there's just nothing you can do but have faith, then no matter how prepared you think you are you really aren't at all.

Any "list" you may need is strictly with regards to "getting your spiritual house in order" . Last time I checked, you didn't need to have the oil checked for a trip to Heaven.

I don't think they have a preperation list of things to have in case the world ends. Maybe you should consult a priest.

Umm....the end of time does not require a whole lot of packing......just put a few things in a duffle bag and you'll be good to go.
