Friends of opposite sex should never EXPECT to have sex with their friends. It isn't "friend" behaviour. Once you bring sex into a friendship, the "friend" part of the relationship flies out the window anyway.
I have over 20 guy friends who would never expect to have sex with me, but they feel close enough to me to tell me all their relationship problems and get my advice. This is what friends do.

Thers more to life than sex, I have many women that are friends and dont see them as anything more than that. If we see every woman as one to have sex, then there wont be any friends at all for both genders. So yes you can and I have.

I would continue to be friends with her if I didn't want to have sex with her. But if I desired her and knew I could never get close to her I would have to detach from her or it would drive me crazy.

depends what is more important to you....the friendship or having her. At the end of the day you have to respect her wishes even if they are not what you want to here. Unfortunately you can't make someone want you.
If this is the case and you can't get past this, then you just have to stay away, you are only punishing yourself by wanting someone who doesn't want you back and living in false hope!

ive never been in a situation like the before..........but ill stay to be friends if shes really cool and awesome. If shes boring then i dont care about being friends.
