I met a girl after she gave me her number and met for coffee. She felt very comfortable with me from the get go because was beet red alot when I talked to her and she would extend her arm out towards me with her palms up and ask me a lot of questions about myself. She also had me sip her drinks a couple times, and asked me if I wanted to go out for drinks with her at a nice mexican restaurant after coffee. Her and I flirted some more and she laughed at practically anything I said. She also wanted to show me her new house she was trying to buy.and when I asked her for dinner she smiled broadly and said "I'd love to".

We were supposed to go out again tonight and she hasnt' returned my calls. What's the deal? It's been a week now and she's always returned my calls and has taken lengths to get back to me in the past. I know she's trying to buy a house and it's the holidays but am I kidding myself?

I called her a total of 4 times in two weeks. Call again or quit?
Why does this ha

She might have a lot going on right now, or maybe a death in her family, or anything that can be a little more important right now. Leave her one more message letting her know that you're thinking about her and that you're worried about her. Then let her make the next call after that. If she calls back, kewl. If she doesn't, then it wasn't meant to be.

Its a possibility that she is not ready for commitment, possibly she is scared to get close to you due to the fact that maybe she just had a broke up or hasn't gotten over from the last breakup. Another possibility she has a boyfriend that she didn't tell you about it. I had a friend and she did that, she would go on dates but was with another man, she just liked the attention of other men but she was committed to her boyfriend.

Definitely quit! I wouldn't call again. It's what we do - act nice no matter what. Just coz it seemed like she liked you means nothing. If she is not returning your calls, it means she is not feeling you. Don't show desparation by calling her again. Preserve your self respect and remember that there's more fish in the sea. Good luck!

no joke at least you know she's normal----I have a commitment problem myself--I'd love to love all that you just described and I probably would have had the same wonderful time--but there may be a reason she's purchasing a home alone..she's afraid of commitment--that's not so far from reality is it?

Quit sweetie... She has had more than enough time to get back with you. Maybe shes not ready for a relationship.

I strongly recommend you wait ubtil the next time you see her in person. When you do see her, then you should ask her about why hasn't returned your calls.

Sounds like she may have someone else or just doesn't know what she wants. Move on.
