Princess with a friend of ours dog. Then 2 days later she came up missing when we let her out that night to use the bathroom. We raised her from a puppy and we know she loves and she never tried to run away , we have left her out all night sometimes and she never came up missing or was out of the yard.Do you think the person we mated her with stole her or she ran away ?

Either is a possibility, I guess, but the probability of her running away seems slim. Did you say that the sire belongs to a friend of yours? Go over to their palce and ask if by chance they have seen your baby ( and just look for any signs of her while you're there).

Pit bull pups are worth 300-500 $$$ per pup assuming that the are registered. So, there would definately be motive there.

I hope that you find her and she and her pups are ok.

first she had the pups about a month ago. if you do not have success calling the shelters (and go down there because they often don't look) or vet offices then keep an eye in the paper and check out every add for someone selling pit pups. if you think it was a friend of yours then check with other close friends and see if they know anything. if they live close check with your neighbors and see if they know of anyone that has pit pups that will be ready in a few weeks. the pups are probably going to be your best lead. you didn't happen to have her microchipped did you?

Why do you suspect your friend?

It's more likely that the dog was stolen by someone who didn't know you (and couldn't be identified by you). We see this a lot in our area, especially with small to medium-sized dogs. Chihuahuas especially get stolen from their yards -- sometimes in broad daylight.

Post lost dog signs all over the place, so everyone can see what your dog looks like, and offer a reward. This often makes it more difficult for the dog-napper to sell the dog or keep it for him/herself, and encourages other to keep an eye out for it.

If you mated her with your friend's dog and they stole her you would prob b able 2 go over there and check it out. Good Luck! Hope she turns up soon!

She was probably stolen. Did you put up flyers about having a lost dog, with her picture and everything? Did you check with the shelters and see if she had been turned in?

yeah i bet the person you mated princess with did steal her, especially if princess is a nice breed of dogs, and her pups are going to be worth something.

Either one of those could have happened. Maybe it's better this way. You obviously aren't a responsible owner. I can only pray that your dog doesn't have to pay the price for it.

She ran away! Did you call your local shelters/ put an add in the newspaper? I would ask your friend/local vets if they've seen her.
