Of course you can. US Mail doesn't go through Iraqi censors. Iraqis have no objection to Bibles or Christianity. You are thinking of Saudi Arabia or Iran.

There are Christians in Iraq. The Iraqis are very friendly to Christians - much more so than our own politicians. Iraqis couldn't understand how the American people allow politicians and politically Correct school administrators to discourage praying in the schools.

Incidentally, if you look at the Iraqi flag, you will notice Arabic writing. From right to left it says: Allah Akbar which means God is great.

You can mail him a bible. Iraq doesn't touch any mail that goes to soldiers. The US military handles ALL mail going into and out of the country no foreigners touch the mail. So feel free to send your loved ones stuff from home, and they can send you stuff too. Iraq itself doesn't even have a mail system. All mail is handled in Iraq just as it is in the US, through a post office. Operated completely by the US military.

You can mail it to the soldier for the same cost as mailing a package in the US if you use his APO address. If you enclose a letter, pls tell him that ppl in the yahoo community wish him well and thank him for serving our country and protecting America. I have also heard that soldiers there like baby wipes (to keep clean) and silly string (to help GIs look for trip wires).
