2.5 years ago i slept with this guy. it was a one night thing, this past weekend i found out that my bf knows him and that they grew up together. should i tell him that i slept with his family friend?

Yes, otherwise if he finds out on his own then it will look like you hid it from him. Thats more suspicious than coming out upfront with the truth. It shouldn't matter now anyway.

There is really not that much you can do, she is going to do what she wants but you can try and tell her that this "R" guy is to old for her and that he will hurt her again and it could be worse let her know how you feel about how shes acting if she doesn't change and you don't like how she is then really don't be friends anymore also if she does get back with this guy and at any point you think hes not treating her right or having sex you should tell her parents or an adult about it even if think she will hate you for it better to be safe then something really bad happen to her cause you never know

No. The past needs to stay in the past. If the matter ever came up, all that needs to be said is that it happened long ago, didn't last, is over, and isn't important.

Nope. Why make an issue of something that shouldn't be an issue? This is something that happened years ago, so whatever. However, should he ask you about it, be blunt and honest and say, "yeah, it happened". I think bringing it up will create an awkward situation for no reason.

I'd say no, what business is it of his who you slept with that long ago? If you tell him, he'll never be able to get it out of his head.

i would tell him because you never know if his friend will tell him and then your bf might think it was more then a one night thing because you didnt tell him but if you tell him first and make sure he understands it was a one night thing nothing more he shouldnt have a problem with it
