boyfriends?

alright my boyfriend has a mullet, with a rat tail, but a graet personality and face and body, weve only been going out for a week or so, but already i am too araid to go out with him in public because of his hair. i know how mean it sounds, but i am scared of what people might think. ive tried talking him out of it, but he says it makes him look different. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

You can tell him that you wish he'd change it, but then you're kinda changing one of the things that makes him, him. But, you can see if you guys can compromise by still finding something unique for him that you can live with. Compromise is almost always the right way in relationships.

OMG!!! a mullet??? what is he thinking, i mean sure, it's different but you should remind him there are other, (ahem...hotter, more adorable) ways of being different. but since you've only been together a week or so, i wouldn't try and change it just yet, just stick it out for a month or so, and then try to get him to cut it. and don't worry about other people, because people are gonna talk and say something anyways. but for your own sake (and his as well), i'd find a way and talk him into changing his hair. and don't worry you don't sound mean at all, it's okay if you have a complaint or two ya know. but i'd just wait for a little bit, then get rid of the mullet. and remember, if you are having fun and enjoying his company then why bother with what others may think or say.

I'll tell you what people will think: they'll think, gee, there goes a guy with a great face and body, but it's not the '80s anymore!

It doesn't have to be a reflection on you. If you like the guy, get over the mullet. It's probably just a phase and he'll eventually get rid of it on his own.

Allot of barber shops are open late. Get him drunk and take care of it. Tell Billy Ray Cyrus to get over his achy breaky heart. If he wants to be different, get a tattoo or something like that.

Let him be if you love him that much then you shouldn't care about how other people think of him. If he doesn't care then you shouldn't too. Let his looks get other people's attention so others can see how cute you two are together!

honey come on you agreed to be his girlfriend if you don't like his appearance anyway? you are so concerned of what people might think not of him but what people think of you. if you LOVE the person you wouldn't entertain what other people might think.... ask him to change his hair if that makes YOU feel better.

Eh. The bad-haired-boyfriend. I had one and eventually convinced him to try and cut his hair, using things like 'but I like guys with hair like this' and 'it grows back!'. But if he really likes it, then you have to just accept him for who he is. It's not the end of the world. :)

tell him that he is different, thta he is sweet and really good looking. think of stuff like that. or just say that you like him but if he doesnt cut his hair you cant see him anymore, if the 1st doesnt work.
