I got this Raliegh Legend bike from someone that owed me some money. The bike seems to be in good condition, I think that it is a girls bike because of the height and color(purple). I have no clue what it may be worth, but i would like to put an ad in the paper, and try to sell it. Any tips would be helpful, thanks. It also says Shimano Alivio on the bar near the seat.

Shimano Alivio equipped bikes regardless of maker are in their "middle of the road consumer" quality, and sold new for somewhere between $400 and $600.

Unfortunately this grade of bike doesn't have a very good resale value so you can expectto get in the neighborhood of $50 to $75 if the bike is in excellent shape.

because it has shimano alivio i'd say it's worth about 50 Australian dollars. its also depends if the gears are working or not

Lucy... I don't know how much it would be worth. I think it won't be too much, but maybe you can go to a bike shop and ask them if for pointers on how much it could be?

$ 18.37 would be a fair price.
