ok here is the scenario... I stayed home fri. because i was 2 upset to go to school (don't even ask) well today I'm dreading mon. i'm scared I will snap in front of everyone. I have things I need to do at home...(dishes/cleaning up the house) I'm only 12 so my grades don't really count. Can't ask mom she is not here... I'm an honor roll kid so my grades are pretty good. But I already missed Fri. and I know I'll feel guilty staying home. Just reassure me... either say i should go or stay...

Go to school and get your education, that is one thing I would stress to kids these days. Staying home will not pay your bills in the long run. Try to do the chores after school when you have time but do not stay home and miss school. You have to have an education jobs are hard now a days to get and you need your education to help you be the best you can be in your life. If you need someone to talk to about your scenario find someone who will listen and get everything out of your system. You can not hold everything in cause when it comes out it will not be pretty. So you need someone to talk to that you will feel comfortable telling and to reassure you that everything will be all right. Make your mom proud of you knowing that all she has taught you is going to pay off in the long run. Let her know that no matter what you will not let anything stop you from being that honor roll student you are and from getting that diploma. Walking across that stage makes you mom whole life proud and fulll of joy knowing that her child went through school and that smile on her face will make you smile even more inside and out knowing that you made your mom proud of you. Do not let anything stop you okay if you need any other reassurance or advice or motivation email me I will be an ear for you and a friend as well. When you get to school think positive to yourself and whatever is bothering you let it go. Get on your knees and pray and ask GOD to see you thru another day that will help you a lot trust me, pray on it tomorrow will go by so smoothly you will have a smile on your face. Think positive at all times don't let anything take your happiness away from you no matter what it is do not worry about it pray to GOD give all your worries to him and he will work them out. Let your mom see that even thou she is not around your not letting that stop you from making her smile and getting your grades. Why is mom at the hospital?

You are only 12 yrs. old and you think that your grades at school don't count, well think again!! If you continue to skip days at school, you won't be on the honor roll for long!! Why are you doing the housework?? Where is your mother?? School is more important then anything else, you may not realize it now but one day you will. You didn't say why you were scared and might snap in front of everyone at school. If there is a problem at home, you need to talk to an adult that is trustworthy.

You should go to school or you'll be even more behind in schoolwork. Why do you have no help around the house?
You're only 12...where's the adults?

I'm sorry for the loss of your dad and I hope your mom has a full recovery.

Good luck to you.

first of all im sorry to hear about your parents, thats a hard thing to deal with im sure, but that only means your grades do matter, more than you think!,it may not seem like it now,but if you lose your mother you will have to rely on your education the rest of your life as for school go monday and let whatever happens-Happen..it will pass and by friday it wont matter, but most of all do this for yourself..stay in school and keep getting good grades-you only get one chance in life, you sound smart and your concerned..see your dealing with it pretty well already-best of luck to you! and your mother!

ok, first, just relax for a minute and take a breathe. when overwhelmed with many tasks, make a list of all of them, and use your time wisely. do the dishes, then take a 10 minute break to relax... clean up the house little by little, taking little breaks inbetween so you dont get so overwhelmed. also, about monday, just take life one day at a time. if you worry about what will happen tommorow, you will miss what goes on ttoday. just remember to relax and live one day at a time

It seems you will feel guilty if you stay home, but you said you have alot to do. Do this-- flip a coin and accept which ever side comes up that is your choice. Don't feel no reget or stress, but get som of that cleaning up done ethere way.

go to school, it is just a very short period of your life, when you graduate and get a job and look back, you will think, why did I stress about that. school will be over in the blink of an eye. the only skills you are learning at home is dish washing, do you wanna wash dishes the rest of your life? get your butt to school.

Well, i think it is perfectly ok to have a couple days off from school if your upset, but you still shouldnt miss to much school, even though you are only 12.. . .

I hope this helps.

Don't worry about going back on Monday. You are fine. If anyone asks, just say you had stuff you had to deal with. Missing one day isn't going to kill you, just don't make a habit of it.
