My boyfriend is an motor transport officer in the army (drives supplies around), and he was recently deployed to Iraq, i heard his was the most dangerous job over there, is that true?

sorry to say, logistics, moving stuff around is very dangerous in Iraq. A lot of this is done by civilian contractors withe armed escorts. If your BF is involved in convoy escort he is in a tough place to be, however if he is managing contractor activities, he is in a completely different situation. (The best clue is the higher the rank, the less likely he will be involved in convey escort)

That kind of depends on where he will be operating. In my mind the transportation soldiers have been heros of this war. I can't say that it is the most dangerous job, but it is up there. However, I know lots and lots of transportation soldiers that ran convoys all over Iraq, out on the road for weeks at a time, and never got a scratch.

if he does a lot of convoys, he is in a lot of danger, but all us soldiers must move in armored vehicles now, so it wont be so bad. he'll be fine. mail him lots of cookies and stuff!
