Do NOT advertise a free dog or cat! There are people out there that love those free animal ads and go get all they can. They sell them to labs for testing or they use them for bait dogs. Make the offer to adopt, and insist on doing a home check. Also, request the person adopting pay a fee. Follow through on the check. Go check out where the animal will live, who will be in the house with the pet, whether they are even allowed to have pets and find out where the person works (if it is a lab) or what their hobbies are. Be very thorough. But do NOT give the animal away free!

on the gentle poles round your community. it really is the position i might want to submit an illustration. Are you particular she did not get stolen? become there fireworks on your section that would have scared her so she ran away? Our animal protect has books that those who've got here upon a dogs yet do not pick to position in the pound will come and write in, and also you've were given to flow down and leaf by way of those books. i might want to go right down to the shelters and seem for myself also, no longer basically call them. good success.

If you use petfinder.com be careful - I listed some puppies on there for sale and got a lot of replies but they were all scamers. They will send you a money order and want you to cash it and pay for the shipping and will offer you a thousand dollars for your dog. The money orders are fakes. BE CAREFUL

You can not put your dog for sale on petfinder but if you need to rehome a dog you can put it up for adoption.
