I'll answer your specific question in just a moment, but before I do I want to point out a few things regarding hoodia diet pills.
All hoodia gordonii does is suppress appetite. It does not burn fat. In fact, hoodia and weight loss are not necessarily synonymous. Hoodia is only one small piece of the weight loss puzzle. According to a recent study published by a consumer advocacy group, over 60% of the hoodia supplements on the market today are fake - meaning they contain very little, if any, hoodia gordonii (the hoodia variety responsible for suppressing appetite).
You want to be sure that the hoodia diet pills you are taking contain authentic hoodia gordonii. You don't mention the brand of hoodia you are taking so I can't help you there. However, I have included a resource below that provides a list of ten things to look for when buying hoodia to make sure that whatever brand you're taking is authentic.
The other consideration is the dosage. How much are you taking per day? Experts say it could take at least 3 grams of hoodia gordonii per day - and some suggest as much as 5 grams per day! Check the label of the hoodia supplements you've purchased and see what the dosage is per serving. You might be surprised.
I'm not suggesting that you should be taking 3+ grams per day. I'm just telling you what I've found through my research. The reality is, each person is different. The dosage that works for one person may be totally different than what works for you. All I'm saying is that you may not be taking enough and you may need to experiment with the dosage to find what works for you.
Assuming you are taking authentic hoodia gordonii and you feel you are taking enough everyday, then hoodia just might not be for you. Most of the evidence on the effectiveness of hoodia is anecdotal - and that evidence is mixed. For every dieter I can find that swears by it, I can find another one who says it doesn't do a thing for them.

None of the hoodia products work. And, none of the other over-the-counter products work.
Here is how you'll know when an effective weight-loss product is available:
1 - It will be the lead story of every newspaper, newscast, and news website for weeks.
2 - A few months after the product is available, you will see VERY FEW fat people around.
Until then -- save your money.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
