No, he didn't. After being helped down from the cross, he healed, and lived a full life and finally died. The bible and the crap in it was manufactured to control gullible peasants at the time, and well evidently now.

If you said like that to ppl, they will think you are crazy.
why can't you say Jesus showed us the truth of the life, and because of that teaching, he was crusified by his own ppl. we benefited something "knowing the truth of life" from his death. So we say, He, actually, died for us.
