At what age do you think it is ok for a child to have sex? Now what age do you think they would be responsible enough to take care of a child themselves? What age is it ok to have to start taking medications for AIDS. What are we teaching our kids by encouraging them and telling them it is ok to have sex in their early teens? I see it on Y answers all the time. Some little boy or girl will get on here and ask a question about sex, and the replies are encouraging them to continue to have sex. Lets pull up our bootstraps and tell these kids to abstain from sex until they are old enough to deal with the consequences.

I told agree with what you are saying. Kids are not ready to be having sex at a young age. I was 16 when i first had sex and to me that was to young. If i could go back i would never have had sex that young. All the movies, tv show now are all about sex. That's not right. Parent's need to talk to their kids about sex and tell them what the consequences are if they do have sex. Not that they should be at a young age.

Realistically, I would say seventeen is a good age to start having sex as long as it's with a same age partner. No one should have a child until they have been married for at least a year, have at least a high school education and are over 25. I totally agree with pulling up bootstraps, some of the people on Y need to be BEAT with them.

no child should have sex, they should be responsible adults that can handle the actions they will most likely face for what they do. I would stress very strongly to wait until an adult. Sex is a big step and is taken way too lightly.
