wut r the pros and cons of diet soda?

PRO - no calories, With a regular soda you get about 250 calories. With Diet you get zero.

CON - diet soda is sweetened with aspartame, aspartame is supposively supposed to make your brain have holes in it and your children come out deformed. They did tests on lab rats that showed negative mental side effects and the amount of aspartame they we're given was equal to about two hundred diet sodas a day.... so don't do that.

P.S.
no matter how few calories there are for you, drinking soda's is still not good for you. If you really want to lose weight, or be healthy, just drink water or juice...

Sodas tend to have a lot of calories, so diet is best when you really need a soda. If you're trying to lose weight this is a good way to cut down on your sugar. The sweeteners used in diet sodas are usually seen as safe in small amounts, though I would suggest drinking 10 diet sodas in a day. Some people notice an aftertaste with the aspartame and some don't, it just depends on how sensitive your taste buds are. Also, you need to consider, that any soda, diet or otherwise can leach calcium from your body because of the carbonation, so don't drink them too often.

pros- no calories no sugar no carbs no fat cons- the ingriedients they put in the soda to take the sugar calories and fats out of it are making the soda even less hea;thy then regular coke. another con is that if you drink more than 32 oz of diet coke a day u will get an urge for sugar because of the lack of it in the product, and actually eat more of it than u would have if u drank regular soda. so if u r going to drink diet drink 32 oz a day or less, even tho its gt no calories even tho its got no calories the same goes with fat free milk

They say with diet soda you often are fooled into thinking you can eat more calories since the soda has none and tend to over eat with it. Try drinking water instead as it is healthier for you.

Diet Soda is TERRIBLE!! It's more fattening then regular coke. The only difference is that diet soda has no sugar, but aspertaine. Which is worse... Just don't drink soda period.. It dissolves your bone marrow.

I have always believed that diet coke is for those people who do not like regular coke. It is a different taste that more older people tend to like. Kids like sweeter drinks while adults tend to turn away from them. They are just as bad for you as regular coke. Instead of saying "diet coke" just say "the other coke" because that's all it is.

I dont believe in diet soda's at all. its all about doing physical things if you are in a diet

"Work" in what sense? It has fewer calories than regular soda, but it isn't a magic potion to make you lose weight, if that's what you mean. Try drinking water instead. It's actually GOOD for you.

sometimes diet soda makes you more hungry I would try water or juice or a piece of fruit.
