Why do some people even try to answer some peoples questions on this site when they are just being rude and hurtfull. Help me understand how people can live with themselves. If it were you it would be diffrent.

It's easy to be whatever you want when you sit behind a keyboard. You can be rude or a smart alec without much harm; or so we think.
But we are becoming a society of ill-manners along with the mentality of entitlement; I don't have to work hard & sweat; I am owed this or that.
How often do you hear 'please'; or a thank you from someone when you hold a door for them? When were you in a store & the clerk actually treated you with respect & not like it's your fault they have to work?
Yes, I too notice the sometimes rude & hurtful comments. People don't stop to think about how their words might come across without the other person hearing the inflection or tone of their voice; when their intent wasn't to be rude. And some just don't care.
It's hard when you're looking for advice or suggestions to not take it to heart. But remember, they're probably miserable, little people & just want to share that misery with you. Feel sorry for them.

Yeah I asked a question a couple days ago and got some extremely rude comments. People make the dumbest assumptions! To be honest, I think a lot of teenagers browse this area and are just rather immature...I would also say there are some bitter souls looking to spread the bitterness! She's right...Ignore them. They don't know you at all or your situation. :)

I don't know why they do it. Even when I was trying to get to Level 2, I tried to be truthful and nice. Some people don't have a nice bone in their body, and I feel sorry for them because I know they don't laugh or have a good time at anything they do.

Some do it for the points. Others think they are being funny and still others are just angry people trying to get their aggressions out. Just ignore the idiots.

yeah...don't take it to heart. i hve gotten some rude answers on here too. and seen a lot on other people's questions. they don't have anything better to do

I usually go out of my way to give them thumbs-down ratings. But they probably don't care anyway. Just ignore them.
