yes, but there is a way to make not hurt. There is a pre treat cream called No Scream Cream. It will numb the area before the wax.

It does hurt but if you have an experienced waxer then the initial shock pain when the hair is pulled out isn't too bad. I have very sensitive skin and personally find that for about an hour afterwards the skin is sore and inflamed. I get everthing taken off though and trust me I have a very low pain threshhold. Plus I would rather have it waxed then have to put up with itchy regrowth after shaving which I think is even more painful and ugly!

Yes, it does hurt. If you ever had your eyebrows waxed, it is similar to that, but like 10 times worse!
When the hair grows in, it is itchy and stubbly. Even my estetician won't have it done.

Yes, they rip several hairs out by the root with each pull. Also, it's kind of a sensitive area, no? Have you ever gotten a hair caught in elastic or zipper? Multiply by 50!

Honey- they will be ripping hair from the roots!!! So – yes it hurts like hell! Getting a good waxer can help but does not eliminate the pain.

Yes, I suggest shaving. I used to wax but it's just too much pain and it's expensive. I would rather not.
