A proper diet is the best way to lose weight naturally and keep it off. You have to eat a varied adequate and balanced diet. Your body needs all kinds of food to function properly including fat in smaller quantities though. Your body needs the nutrients and vitamins in fruits and vegetables the most, that is what you should eat the most of (at least 5 servings a day). You also need protein, and a little fat. Reduce your intake of sweets, fried food and foods that contain a lot of fat. Don't drink too many alcoholic beverages or soft drinks (they have a lot of calories). Don't go to sleep right after you eat. And finally exercise at least 3 to 4 days a week for about 45 minutes.Good luck. You can also get more information about nutrition from this site:

Please, please talk to your doctor about this. According to what I've read and what my doctor has told me, pregnant women should under no circumstances be on a diet! I completely understand that having two children close together takes a toll on your body image, but remember it also takes a major toll on your entire body. Both children need you to be healthy right now. A better option than dieting is exercise, which is healthy during pregnancy, but make sure you clear your routine with your doctor first. Also, when you're pregnant, keep in mind you only need an extra 300 calories a day, which isn't much, and if you're nursing, only about an extra 500. If you aren't already, you should start keeping track of what you eat. The most important thing for you to do is stop beating yourself up over this. Pregnancy and childbirth causes a woman's body to go through some major hormonal and physical changes. In addition, what you have going for you is your height, so I'm sure you look much better than you think you do.

I don't think any diet is "good". If you stick to healthy eating - limit your carbs, eat lean protein, fresh fruit and vegetables, keep your calories around 1200 per day, little alcohol, little sugars, low salt, you will drop the excess weight rather quickly. Get 30-60 minutes of some kind of exercise in every day. You can do it in 10-15 minute walks - use the stairs. It will all work!! Good luck!!!

I would totally recommend the Souh Beach Diet. I am getting back on the wagon after the holidays, too, and it is already working. You don't feel hungry and it's healthy for you.
I have lost over twenty pounds with it, gradually, and it is really effective.

I strongly recommend the South Beach diet. You'll learn about good carbs and bad carbs, good fats and bad fats. The book and accompanying cook book has some good recipes and practical knowledge to control your appetite and how to avoid situations that prompt you to eat when not hungry.

Just eat a good healthy diet- and try to make it lots of small meals instead of a few big ones. And get exercise: Walking is one that can be done anywhere.
And I have to remind myself of this too: Drink lots of water.
Good luck!
