oh my goodness-go see a professional. It definitley has to be stripped out-quite a few times, and recolored. My hair was super super dark brown almost black the other day, and we had to use a color remover-a really good one, not the crap from sally's that I used on my hair in beauty school...then we had to bleach it twice even to get it to a yellowy orange color. then it of course needed to be toned to get rid of the yellow. I see the difference in letting someone else do it vs. yourself...and I'm a stylist!!! Even with the good tools I have-it's good to have someone who has a different view than you, and 2 heads are better than 1 when it comes to brainstorming. My hair is in such good condition-go get it done trust me : )

**in response to what some other people wrote-please do not put 40 vol on your hair and put it under heat, your hair will fall out-or your scalp will blister!!!
and.....kaleidacolors is crap-and it's not meant for high lifting. that is a bleach that is meant for toned hilights..and is not an on the scalp bleach either. Not the bleach to become a blonde!

My suggestion would be to get Kaleidocolors Tonal Powder Lightener-Blue or the Quick Blue.
I don't know either of the brands and haven't used them, but if you're going to get something at this place, get these.
You need them because the tones (a blue, or a violet) will subtract out the brassiness you're going to come across from lightening your hair from such a dark color.
You're also going to need a developer.
Get a 40 volume one. That's the highest lifting power. Really, really watch your hair though to make sure you don't over do it.

Basic white packet mix with 40 volume H202(peroxide) to the consistency of honey apply with brush to hair section you want to bleach don't put any on scalp until the last.......put foil/or plastic wrap around hair you don't want bleached......cover head with plastic and apply heat evenly until hair starts lifting......with that much black dye on it ......it will probably fall out before it turns blonde.....good luck........................

go to a salon (even a school will do better than you can yourself) it may be very damaging.
