When I'm on the computer or reading in a chair or watching TV or something, I thought of a new exercise strategy. I bounce my legs up and down, kind of like a run-in-place sort of thing, and it makes me feel more energetic. Then, when I get tired, I just keep my feet glued to the floor and move my legs from side to side. I know this sounds funny, but I think it might be a way to burn calories (probably not very many, but whatever). Just wondering if anyone ever does it or has any suggestions like it.

P.S. I AM NOT CRAZY!!! I don't do this as a nervous habit or anything, I'm just started doing it recently because I thought it might be a good form of exercise.

Maybe an extra 50 calories a day if you were to do this constantly for 24 hours. IOW, yeah you burn calories, but it's negligible.

OK, come on. Really. We all know that the only form of physical excercise that lazy people do is get up to go to the fridge or reach for a beer or walk to the bathroom. If you are lazy you are lazy. Oh well.

It doesn't sound dumb at all. When I was in elementary school, I hated my stomach, and held it in all day. It is now my best feature - it is flat and my waist is tiny. Every little bit helps!
