I just installed new speakers, an amp, a sub, and a cd player. I went to test it today and the cd player has power, everything works on it, but there is no sound coming from any of the speakers or the subwoofer. does anyone know what this could be?

I appreciate every answer!

thanks,
Andrew

Check again to make sure you hooked the speakers up right it could be just one wire not hooked up right to make it not work.

Depending on what kind of car you have, you may have to bypass a factory amp. Aftermarket speakers sometimes won't work in a car with the factory amp. As for the other amp and sub you installed, check for some sort of light on the amp. You may have a bad ground.

Like said above, what type of car do you have, does it have an amp already installed in your system, you might have to by pass it or figure out how to power it.

I had a problem like this before, check the fuses in your car and amp and make sure they haven't blown out.
