Either he or she can not face the truth and tell you they are not that into you or they really are having personal emotional problems and can not maintain a relationship. Either way, you are not exactly what they want/need at this point in time. Sorry.

It basically can mean two things..........they care enough about you not to point fingers at you or put the blame on you.. The 2nd thing it could be is that it really is THEM and that they are going through something that they must figure out for themselves. They need their space to do so.

Used to break up. It is said by the person doing the breaking up, to spare the other's feelings. "You didn't do anything wrong. It's me." It became a running joke on Seinfeld.

example: if i were to say "its not you, its me" to my boyfriend if i wanted to break up with him......it would mean that i need to find wat i need in a relationship......i need to try different things to see what i need and want in a relationship......

example: "its not you, its me" is just a line that guyz use all the time just to break up with their girl friend, and move on to a different girl.....to see if that person is what they're looking for....(if they're dedicated to the relationship...romantic....and so on...).....

(i'd go with the first example if i were u.....lol...)
