That is the link, but basically it has 8mp and 5* optical zoom. It is only 198 dollars, but is still a good camera? It is Kodak by the way?

Depends on what you're using it for. If just all round casual use, then yes, it's good. Kodak makes good cameras, if it's got their name on it it's well made. You just have to decide if it's suited to your needs.

I second the SD600. Canon is probably the most solid maker of digital cameras right now.

Well, I would recommend you go for a Canon camera...It is one of the best known brand and very good stable camera when it comes to digital cameras.

My suggestions are:

Canon A530/A540
Canon SD 600 or SD 700 IS

it is a good camera for just basic use, but i dont suggest getting it at Walmart. Walmart is a bad store to buy stuff from.
