I sort of wonder why you care about this. "Really short" isn't much information and doesn't say anything about her bone structure or body type, 57 pounds is not very much for an eleven year old in most cases.
Fitness, not exact weight is more important, and beyond that, friendship should not depend on things that are superficial. How woud you feel if you saw a question from your friend about whether your nose was too big?
Work on yourself and being a true friend. It's a lot more important that body size at 11.

Your friend does not sound fat but why are you worrying about her weight when she is only 11? I think the obsession with weight is what is causing young people to have eating disorders. As long as your friend is eating healthy food and is getting plenty o 11-year-old-kid exercise, she will be healthy and that is what is important, not the number on the scale or a particular dress size.

Well it depends on her hieght, but that is an abnormal weight for an 11 year-old, most are 80-90 pounds

57 pounds?? my 4 year old weighs 50 pounds and he isn't fat at all! unless she's extremely short, she's underweight.

No 1 of my sisters is sooo skinny she weighs 63 pounds and is turning 12 she is sooooooo skinny!!!

well, sounds like a good strong gust of wind would blow her away. I dont know what you mean by really short, but if she is much under four feet tall maybe she should worry, any taller and she would just be considered really petite.

Are you stupid? She is malnourished and extremely underweight. I don't care if she is 4 feet tall. Duh????? I really hate stupid questions like this. Are you fat? Is that why you have to ask an incredibly stupid question like this? It is called common sense if you have any. Go ahead and report me but fact is, quit eating twinkies and acting jealous of those you know that are cute and you're not.
