Please comment only about older girls/younger guys! This is the second time that I am dating a younger guy. The first one was only 1.5 years younger but this one is 6 years younger. He is very understanding and romantic. He hot and very nice in bed too. He always talks about our future. I don't say anything about that. I love to marry this guy but I am worried. Do you think we will be good couple, good parents? Do you thin our age affects out emotional and sexual relationships?

If you're 16 and he's 10, then you've got big troubles!

addendum-

Okay, you've posted your ages now, so I would say that age should not be considered a factor in the possibility of future happines, children, etc. I've known people in similar age situations and it all depends on the couple. Nothing is set in stone.

Go for it.

I think it's right in some sense, but you have to look at the facts, an older guy comes up to a younger girl, starts talking to her, flirting with her. People are going to automatically assume that the guy is a paedophile or a dirty little b**t**d. It's how society is run, and besides I know it's wrong but it's a socially constructed value. Ok yes, I agree with the fact that girls tend to go for older guys but I'm talking about really old guys, old enough to be your father type of guys. Guys want and like sex, its a fact. Sure we have evolved to control these urges but having sex is still the guys priority.

I know a couple who have been married over 20 years where the woman is several years older. So I would say the age has nothing to do with your relationship. As long as everything else is good....go for it.

It all depends on the couple/the younger guy. Guys tend to be on a different page maturity level-wise when a couple is the exact same age, so it depends on how mature he is and where he's at with his career/job, his outlook on life, etc. Only you know what you're feeling and how he treats you, etc. Good luck!

You don't say how old you both are. If you are 25 and he is in his late teens, maybe.
Otherwise your concern about the age difference is the major factor, as many happy couples have an age difference, look at Ashton and Demi.
Is your concern valid due to his immaturity, or something that you need to work on?

Girl, you can't ask nobody else about what to do with the rest of your life. As long as you are happy and satisfied, and you TRULY know this guy, then go for it. If you're not sure, spend as much time as it takes to get sure!!

Good Luck!

If he is mature, then no problem. I'm older than my husband. Go for it. You know they say age is just a number.
